Marvin Vilma

 "My mom taught me a lot. She used to say that common sense is never common. Making sense of the world is a collective exercise in which I am excited to engage because it brings me closer to people who are making a change in the world." 

Marvin Vilma is a dedicated educator, entrepreneur and nonprofit professional. His personal mission is to partner with organizations seeking to invest in teaching & learning to drive their success and innovation. He is the Director of Individual Giving at Let's Get Ready, and was previously a higher education professional, classroom teacher and founder. Marvin was born and raised in Queens, NY and attended Colgate University where he studied Sociology and French. He was a Community Fellow with the Institute for Nonprofit Practice, and completed a Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship Education at UPenn's Graduate School of Education. Marvin enjoys traveling, Netflix binging, improving his culinary skills and spending time with friends.
